Way up North

I suppose just over a month late isn’t awful. These were from my trip to Galicia with Sarah. We first visited A Coruña, made a quick stop in Santiago, and then head to Noia where she has family. In A Coruña, we stayed with an Australian Couchsurfer who had this giant apartment that wasp provided by the company he works for. He apologized for putting us in the penthouse room because it was a bit smaller, but he had other friends coming to visit that were going to be sleeping in the room we’d normally be set up in…Rude. Anyway, that’s the spot where the awesome rooftop views are from. We overall lucked out with the weather (for a naturally rainy part of Spain), and had a very relaxing trip. I hadn’t previously been up to Northern Spain, so it was awesome to get a taste of how distinct it is, as well as have the opportunity to hangout with another Spanish family for a few days. It’s also worth noting that the famous octopus of Galicia certainly did not disappoint…
