A week or so late, but these pictures make up a handful from my trip to Paris. It was a quick weekend, but we really managed to pack in our days without feeling rushed. After arriving Friday afternoon, we snacked and set out to the Louvre (thank you to Nat Geo Traveler for enlightening me of the late night hours on Fridays). Saturday was spent at Versailles, Notredame, and the Eiffel Tower, and on Sunday we headed home relatively early.
I am sparing my dignity by not posting the obligatory tourist photos at the Louvre. Although walking around with an Nikon around my neck and knowing almost no French most certainly gave away my identity (feeling shamefully ignorant about the latter).
I will forever dream about macaroons (the real French ones) and chocolate fondue, and be forever thankful for Sevilla’s consistently beautiful weather and cheaper prices.
